Sir Joseph Banks Horticultural Society Medallions

On offer are three lovely unusual medallions. In good condition overall, the base bronze metal has tarnished up over the years creating a lovely dull patina to both sides.

It has a traditional medallion shape which has been decorated on the front side with a raised profile of “Sir Joseph Banks Bt P:R:S Born 1743 Died 1820”. The reverse side reads “The Royal Horticultural Society” and has been engraved with “Awarded by Falmouth Spring Flower Show 2001”, “Awarded by Falmouth Spring Flower Show 2007”, “Awarded by Tenterden & Dist Hort Society to Mr C Sargent 1947”.

It measures 38mm in diameter.
