Hallmarked 9ct Gold Medallion, for Champion Horse Ploughman, won by Fred Scott of Woodhead of Ballinshoe at the 1952 Forfar and District Ploughing Association Annual Ploughing Match on Saturday 8th March.

In ideal weather, 11 horse and 21 tractor ploughs contested the annual match of Forfar and District Ploughing Association at Heatherstacks [Mr John Robertson] on Saturday.

Fred Scott of Woodhead of Ballinshoe was Champion Horse Ploughman.
